Description: Interaction with other students and professionals in the water resources technologies industry. Stress placed on sharing knowledge and demonstrating understanding through discussion of current issues in the industry, operational tasks, and emerging issues.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Describe the impact that current issues in the hydrology/water/wastewater treatment industry may have on plant operations. (I)
2. Discuss current topics being studied. (II)
3. Demonstrate an understanding of operational tasks and processes in hydrology, water treatment, distribution, collections and wastewater treatment. (III)
4. Demonstrate an understanding of the impact that emerging issues may have on water resources technologies. (IV)
5. Discuss career opportunities in water resources technologies. (IV)
