1. Apply and explain Pythagorean Theorem and methods for finding angles, calculating simple and rolling offsets involving parallel runs of pipe. (I)
2. Interpret civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical drawings used for plumbing system installation. (II) 3. Create and use isometric drawings. (II) 4. Discuss use and purpose of material takeoffs and approved submittal data. (II) 5. Demonstrate proper techniques for locating, installing, and connecting roof, floor, and area drains to code. (III) 6. Explain waterproof membranes, flashing, drain components, and proper drain applications. (III) 7. Identify various types, components, and valve applications including repair and replacement. (IV) 8. Demonstrate installation techniques for basic plumbing fixtures, valves and faucets. (V) 9. Explain safe handling techniques for fuel gas systems including fuel gas and oil applications, systems installation and testing. (VI) | |||
