Description: Typical southwestern construction systems and details. Creation of personal standard detail files for wood frame, concrete masonry, and other specialized construction systems.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Describe architectural detailing formats and systems, to include relationships to other working drawings, building materials, and Code requirements. (I)
2. Identify the components of selected foundation, wall, floor, and roof frame details for one and two story wood frame and concrete masonry construction. (II)
3. Identify the components of selected precast concrete framing details. (III)
4. Identify the components of selected concrete slab details. (IV)
5. Identify the components of selected steel framing details. (V)
6. Create a personal reference file of standard details. (VI)
