Description: Emphasis on reading study strategies for any introductory class in any subject area. Introduction to Learning Management System (LMS), how to successfully read course textbooks and assessments, how to navigate information technology and development of academic vocabulary.

2. Create plans that use organizational skills to manage college textbook assignments. (II)
3. Create learning plans based on content area reading requirements. (III)
4. Effectively employ content area vocabulary. (IV)
5. Improve memory and concentration skills. (V)
6. Analyze college textbook structure. (VI)
7. Analyze textbook information for main ideas and supporting details. (VI)
8. Analyze textbook assignments to find common patterns of organization. (VI)
9. Apply study reading systems to college textbook material. (VI)
10. Create useable tools to reduce information found in textbooks. (VII)

12. Synthesize textbook information and lecture material. (VIII)
