Description: Overview and practical application of teaching secondary dance and movement. Covers teaching strategies, learning environments, teaching resources, and use of technology. Emphasis on State Board of Education Professional Teaching Standards.

5. Use various teaching resources to teach dance and movement to secondary students. (IV)
6. Analyze the use of technology to teach dance. (V)
7. Design dance curriculum. (VI)
8. Establish a learning environment for dance activities. (VII)
9. Summarize various teaching strategies. (VIII)
10. Use various teaching strategies. (VIII)
11. Evaluate various assessment methods. (IX)
12. Develop assessment instruments for dance. (IX)
13. Prepare a dance lesson plan. (X)
14. Teach a dance lesson. (X)
15. Complete field experience as a volunteer teacher aide. (XI)
