Description: Use of digital mixing and automation software in conjunction with editing and recording. Includes computer operation, troubleshooting, and file management.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Identify and navigate the components of the mix window. (I)
2. Identify and process files using the different types of plug- ins. (II)
3. Create cue mixes, subgroups, and master faders. (III)
4. Identify and use automation modes and preferences. (IV)
5. Explain and execute automation editing. (V)
6. Create two track final mixes, and burn compact Discs. (VI)
