Description: Preconstruction planning including loading, method of transportation, timing, tolerances, safety, and quality control. Handling, erection and storage including hazards awareness. Use of cranes, hoists, and other specialized equipment. Pre-engineered metal building systems, site evaluation and preparation. Framing systems, insulation, walls, metal roofing, repairs and renovations. Basic components of scaffolding, loading, erecting and dismantling of scaffold systems.

11. Explain fa?ade systems, curved panels, computerization and multistory metal buildings.(VII)
12. Demonstrate proper loading and storing of materials. (VIII)
13. Construct framing systems such as structural , tapered beam, single-span and multi-span ridge, truss systems, lean-to and others. (IX)
14. Demonstrate safe and proper erecting procedures for secondary framing systems including girts, purlins and insulation. (X), (XI)
15. Demonstrate proper installation of wall materials and metal roofing. (XII)
16. Demonstrate proper installation of standing seam or concealed fastener metal roofing including exposed fastener lap seam metal roofing. (XIII)
17. Demonstrate proper installation of flashing, trim, cutters, and accessories. (XIV)
18. Identify common problems and failures of metal buildings including appropriate repair process. (XV)
19. Demonstrate safe and proper re-roofing and renovation procedures for metal buildings. (XVI)
20. Describe basic components and types of scaffolding. (XVII)
21. Explain the importance of safety on scaffolds. (XVIII)
22. Identify major components of supported scaffold system and component capacities. (XIX)
23. Calculate scaffold loads. (XIX)
24. Demonstrate proper erecting and dismantling procedures of systems-based, frame, and tube-and-coupler scaffold systems. (XX)
25. Demonstrate proper erecting and use of suspended scaffold systems. (XXI)
