Description: Theory and practice in analysis of dramatic literature as preparation for technical production applications.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Read and analyze a play by identifying key elements of dramatic structure. (I)
2. Identify and define qualities and elements of dramatic language. (II)
3. Identify primary and secondary resources used in researching a play`s style and contexts. (III)
4. Prepare a written play analysis as a basis for production design choices. (IV)
