Description: Provides experience and explores multiple illustration techniques used to communicate ideas in entertainment production. Provides basic skills including pictorial drawing and sketching.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Determine and assess the various needs of the production industry. (I)
2. Evaluate the demands on the current entertainment industry as it relates to production. (II)
3. Determine the appropriate tools and applications used in designing basic illustrations for production. (III)
4. Construct a basic illustration for production using the appropriate tools and applications. (IV)
5. Summarize the variety of career opportunities available in the field of (entertainment) production and appraise the potential availability of such careers. (V)
6. Produce a portfolio of work. (VI)
