Description: Theory and practice in analysis of dramatic literature for the technician and designer. Emphasis on techniques of script analysis for visual information.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Analyze a play by identifying key elements of dramatic structure. (I)
2. Determine the period style of the play. (II)
3. Evaluate methods of researching the visual style and conceptual approach to a play. (III, IV, V)
4. Prepare sketches of scenery, costumes and lighting for the script. (VI)
