1. Identify software programs, features, and applications for computer-assisted design (CAD) in the fashion design industry. (I)
2. Identify hardware and software terminology in computer- assisted design. (II) 3. Operate computer hardware and use appropriate software for fashion designing. (II) 4. Use hardware and software to scan textiles and flats. (III) 5. Use scanned images or original textile designs to create textiles and flats. (III) 6. Use paint program tools to draw, paint, and create program effects. (III) 7. Use industry software and the elements and principles of design to create, scan, and print apparel designs. (III) 8. Use industry software applications for color reduction, reducing images, setting up a swatch, and painting with a swatch. (IV) 9. Use scanned or original designs to create an apparel line. (V) 10. Use principles and elements of design and computer software to create a portfolio. (VI) 11. Use principles and elements of design to develop a swipe collection portfolio. (VI) | |||
