Description: Materials and techniques used for stitchery and embellishment on textiles. Includes color schemes and design development.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Identify stitchery and embellishment techniques appropriate for textiles. (I)
2. Identify fabrics, threads, and needles used for stitchery and embellishment of textiles. (II)
3. Sketch a design and select a color scheme and stitchery/embellishment technique appropriate for design and fabric. (III)
4. Apply design to fabric using appropriate stitchery/embellishment techniques and materials. (IV)
