Description: Environmental regulations, legal requirements, and responsibilities of safety management. Prevention and management of environmental risks and solving environmental issues.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Evaluate economic risks presented by environmental legislation and regulations in the United States. (I, V)
2. Manage and interpret safety and environmental assessments required by the Environmental Protection Agency. (II, III)
3. Manage and evaluate safety and environmental resources. (II, III, IV, V)
4. Analyze abatement methods for environmental issues of pollution and hazardous waste. (III, IV, V)
5. Interpret and implement requirements for Indoor air quality affecting safety and health. (V)
6. Evaluate public health risks and related safety and environmental issues. (VI)
