Description: Introduction to computer keyboarding skills for personal use. Emphasis on touch keyboarding of alphabetic and punctuation keys only



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Apply microcomputer operation skills: care of diskettes, powering up the computer, entering data, and powering down the computer. (I)
2. Use proper typing posture, body and hand position, and eye contact for maximum proficiency at the microcomputer keyboard. (I)
3. Key the alphabetic and punctuation keys by touch. (II)
