Description: Review of basic skills. Remediation, guided learning, and simulation performance.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Determine through self-reflection areas of skill weakness. (I)
2. Demonstrate competence with identified skills. (II)
3. Demonstrate safe nursing habit involving the care of the patient. (II)
4. Demonstrate and explain the operation of selected medical equipment. (III)
5. Demonstrate appropriate patient assessments in specific situations. (IV)
6. Simulate safe practice habits of medication administration via the oral, intramuscular, and intravenous route. (V)
7. Exhibit dimensions of patient-centered care in the laboratory and simulation environment. (VI)
8. Apply technology and information management tools in the delivery of safe patient. (VI)
