Description: Advanced course in intravenous and pediatric calculations. Preparation for NCLEX-RN exam and Registered Nurse review of complex medication calculations. Emphasis on safe clinical practice using the nursing process to analyze and calculate pediatric fractional doses and critical care medications



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Calculate pediatric fractional dose with 100% accuracy. (I)
2. Calculate critical care medications doses with 100% accuracy. (I, III)
3. Demonstrate how to calculate intravenous medications and titrations. (III)
4. Describe available resources to solve complex medical problems. (IV)
