Description: Comprehensive pain assessment and pain management. Pharmacological agents, treatment modalities, and delivery systems. Regulatory agency policies, standards of care, and documentation guidelines.

5. Describe therapeutic and adverse effects of pharmacological agents used to relieve pain. (III)
6. Compare and contrast pain management treatment modalities and delivery systems. (IV)
