Description: Concepts of quality management including quality planning, quality assurance and quality control. Concepts of quality systems and their applicability to project management

1. Describe the basics tenets of quality theory developed by Deming, Juran and Crosby. (I)
2. Describe the main elements of quality management. (I)
3. List the components of a Quality Management Plan. (II)
4. Describe the uses of acceptance sampling. (III)
5. Contrast assignable versus random variations. (III)
6. Apply Pareto`s rule and Pareto diagrams. (IV)
7. Develop a control chart for a given problem. (IV)
8. Evaluate the uses of Statistical Process Control in a project environment including 6-sigma concepts. (IV)
