Description: Designed to provide re-certification for the performance of standard aircraft rescue and firefighting procedures and skills for airport firefighters. Includes but not limited to airport configuration and design, aircraft types, hazardous cargo, safety procedures and materials used.

13. Describe and demonstrate key words and phrases that are unique to the airport environment. (XI)

15. Identify, describe, and demonstrate the use of extinguishing agents used in ARFF. (XIII)
16. Differentiate and describe ARFF Apparatus` types, features, options, and maintenance. (XIV)
17. Differentiate and demonstrate the use of ARFF rescue tools and equipment and the use in rescue operations. (XV)
18. Identify, differentiate, and demonstrate ARFF Apparatus in terms of maintenance, inspection, operation of, discharge, and resupply. (XVI)
19. Identify, describe, and demonstrate the use of the properties, types, and applications for ARFF foam. (XIII)
20. Identify, describe, and demonstrate the properties, types, and applications for ARFF Dry chemicals and clean agents. (XIII)
21. Describe an Airport Emergency Plan (AEP). (XVII)
22. Describe incident management procedures and considerations. (XVIII)
