Description: Study of idiomatic English for speakers of English as a Second Language(ESL). Emphasis on commonly misunderstood expressions. Includes practice on a computer or with audio tapes.

1. Identify an idiomatic expression in multiple sentences. (I,IV) 2. Substitute an idiomatic expression for a non-idiomatic word or words in multiple written sentences. (II,IV) 3. Use idiomatic expressions in multiple written responses to questions. (III,IV)
