Description: First module of the first level of English as a Second Language (ESL). Emphasis on basic conversational skills, pronunciation, vocabulary building, and grammar. Some reading and sentence-level writing.

1. Use the verb to be in both conversation and in simple written sentences in the simple present tense. (I) 2. Use common English verbs in both conversation and in simple written sentences in the simple present tense. (I, II) 3.
