1. In a professional manner, adhere to safety, emergency, and ethical policies and procedures of the ultrasound department and healthcare agency with limited assistance, as needed. (I)
2. Perform imaging processing procedures to include various-imaging media, processing films, and storage of completed examinations with frequent assistance, as needed. (II) 3. Follow patient care protocols before, during, and after the sonographic examination with frequent assistance, as needed. (III) 4. Perform office procedures to include filing, scheduling, billing, report retrieval, and processing of patient, with frequent assistance, as needed. (IV) 5. Assist the technologist in performing selected sonographic examinations in the clinical setting. (V) 6. Under strict supervision, create diagnostic images. (VI) 7. Under strict supervision, utilize appropriate techniques to correct equipment limitations. (VI) | |||
