Description: The exploration and comparative analysis of the newest software packages on the market designed to enhance or replace existing CAD(Computer Aided Drafting) software



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Identify appropriately related new software as advertised in computer magazines and news publications. (I)
2. Identify and evaluate hardware requirements for each software demonstrated or utilized. (II), (IV)
3. Demonstrate the procedure for start-up of new software and module selection. (III)
4. Use revised CAD software to improve design/drafting productivity or presentation. (I-IV)
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies. MCCCD faculty retains authority in determining the pedagogical approach, methodology, content sequencing, and assessment metrics for student work.
