Description: Work experience in child care centers. 80 hours of designated work per credit. Maximum of 6 credits allowed



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Apply child care classroom instruction to work experiences during 80 hours per credit per semester.
2. Accomplish individualized child care related learning goals.
3. Communicate effectively with child care personnel and with faculty coordinator.
4. Apply child care skills in the child care center.
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies. MCCCD faculty retains authority in determining the pedagogical approach, methodology, content sequencing, and assessment metrics for student work.
