Description: Introduction to current topics, contemporary issues and aspects related to personal computing.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Present an overview of the topic including its conceptual and/or theoretical background and explain its importance and relevance to personal computing. (I)
2. Identify and describe how the topic may be used to promote and enhance personal computing. (II)
3. Identify and describe a variety of techniques and strategies related to the topic to improve and enhance personal computing. (III)
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies. MCCCD faculty retains authority in determining the pedagogical approach, methodology, content sequencing, and assessment metrics for student work.
