Description: Introduction to project management concepts while working with MS Project to solve complex project management networks, including creating Gantt and PERT charts, tracking project progress, planning for restrictions, and integrating MS Project with other software packages such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and cc Mail



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Prepare material for printing in multiple layout programs. (I)
2. Prepare materials for both gray-scale and color publications. (II)
3. Demonstrate techniques for performing color separations and prepare spot color overlays. (II)
4. Use commercial pattern, border, and text manipulation programs. (II)
5. Print with multiple text and display fonts not resident in the printer. (III)
6. Modify fonts to create special characters, logos, etc. (III)
7. Compose slides, overhead projections, handouts, and other coordinated materials, using one or more commercial presentation packages. (IV)
8. Participate in the production of unusual and larger-scale publications. (V)
9. Assemble a portfolio of desktop projects that demonstrate the skills acquired. (VI)
