2. Describe fundamental painting preparation and methods. (II) 3. Describe the elements of a painting, including design, drawing, and color. (III) 4. Visit museums, galleries, and/or exhibitions to view historical and contemporary paintings. (IV) 5. Create and develop an idea sketchbook, using a variety of resources. (V) 6. Describe and practice various methods of presenting paintings, including framing, matting, and mounting. (VI) 7. Evaluate one`s own work and the work of other painters. (VII) | |||
