Description: Basic theories and techniques of color negative materials



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Trace the history of color photography. (I)
2. Identify and apply basic color theory principles to negative materials. (II, IV)
3. Identify and apply appropriate exposure techniques to various types of color negative film and color print materials. (III)
4. Identify and describe styles and trends in color photography including digital options. (IV)
5. Prepare and mix color print processing chemicals. (V)
6. Use traditional and /or digital color print processing procedures; prepare a portfolio of color images. (V, VI)
