Description: Introduction to construction, manipulating, and rendering three-dimensional (3D) objects and architectural spaces on the computer using AutoCAD software



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Set up and manage three-dimensional drawing files and configure display. (I)
2. Construct three-dimensional model types from given two- dimensional objects and/or architectural spaces. (I)
3. Develop a variety of three-dimensional views of the same object and/or architectural space. (I)
4. Download, insert and manipulate three-dimensional symbols from a given library. (II)
5. Render three-dimensional drawings including applying basic material textures, finishes, and lighting effects. (III)
6. Plot work in progress and completed drawings in Paper Space. (IV)
7. Demonstrate professional work habits including demeanor, attendance, efficient use of class time, and the ability to work with others. (I-IV)
