Description: Overview of the role and responsibilities of a baggage service agent. Covers procedures for delayed and damaged baggage, as well as customer concerns. Emphasis on working with a computerized baggage trace system.

1. Identify the role and responsibilities of a baggage service agent. (I)
2. Explain steps to resolve delayed and damaged baggage. (II)
3. Differentiate between processes for handling customer concerns dealing with on-hand bags, pilferage, and lost and found luggage. (II)
4. Summarize steps for opening, reading, and creating various files. (II)
5. Utilize various terms and codes within the web based search engine and computerized baggage trace system. (III)
