Description: Initial inflight training of the Airbus A319/320. Includes Airbus A319/320 aircraft familiarization, duties and procedures, and security training.

3. Differentiate between equipment on board the A319 and A320. (I)
4. Perform the required pre-flight checks of the equipment on board the Airbus A319/320 aircraft. (I)
5. Identify the appropriate use of equipment on board the Airbus A319/320. (I)
6. Explain the pertinent Federal Aviation Regulations governing the airline industry. (II)
7. Describe the procedures necessary to perform the pre-flight duties and responsibilities on board the Airbus A319/320 aircraft. (II)
8. Describe the procedures necessary to perform the post-flight duties and responsibilities on board the Airbus A319/320 aircraft. (II)
9. Describe the procedures for proper passenger handling on board the Airbus A319/320. (II)
10. Identify specific special passenger handling procedures. (II)
11. Describe Airbus A319/320 galley lay-out and service standards. (III)
12. List and describe the various inflight service procedures. (III)
13. Describe and explain inflight service standards relating to etiquette, health regulations, and safety/security. (III)
14. Identify the principles of effective preventative security measures. (IV)
15. Explain the strategies and procedures to effectively handle a hijacking. (IV)
16. Explain the strategies and procedures to effectively handle an explosive device situation. (IV)
