Description: Fundamentals of layout design including balance, movement, unity, clarity, simplicity, emphasis, and color. Production and critique of commercial advertising art. Package design and point-of-purchase displays

2. Produce ad layouts to professional standards. (II)
3. Produce layouts and comprehensives for printed products. (III)
4. State characteristics of high/low quality design. (IV)
5. Describe and demonstrate methods of concept development. (V)
6. Produce presentation artwork for portfolio. (VI)
