Description: Introduces transmission and distribution of electrical power. Includes application of transformers, distribution and over-current protection devices, switchboards, feeders, bus-ways, motor control centers, generators, and troubleshooting techniques associated with these systems and devices.

1. Describe primary and secondary power distribution. (I)
2. Analyze the effects of unbalanced voltages and phases on power distribution systems. (I)
3. Troubleshoot techniques associated with power distribution. (I)
4. Describe the function of overcurrent and voltage protection devices and how to test them. (II)
5. Describe the operation and power distribution of generators. (III)
6. Test Alternating Current (AC) generators. (III)
7. Describe single phase and three phase transformers. (IV)
8. Test single phase and three phase transformers. (IV)
