Description: Introduction to the field of sports management, including sports marketing and sales, facility management, event management, professional sports, public relations, intercollegiate and interscholastic athletics.

3. Define the concepts, principles, organizations, and common practices in sports management industry. (I, V)
4. Identify the essentials of management, marketing, financial, legal and ethical principles of sports management. (II, V)
5. Analyze identified major issues in sports management. (IV, V, VI)
