Description: Prepares students for AppleCare Hardware Certification exams for iOS devices and to perform warranty-level hardware repairs.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Differentiate iOS hardware based on visual appearance and Apple resources. (I)
2. Demonstrate the steps in the iOS setup and activation process. (II)
3. Analyze screens that monitor resource usage, including cellular usage and battery life of Apple iOS devices. (III)
4. Demonstrate syncing, backing up and updating iOS devices. (III)
5. Explain the built-in apps and features of iOS. (III)
6. Manage iOS security features. (IV)
7. Recommend how to set up, configure, and troubleshoot an iOS device with a network. (V)
8. Diagnose iOS device issues as hardware, software, security, privacy, network connectivity or education-related. (VI)
9. Service various iOS devices. (VII)
