MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Apply principles of digital spectrum color in regard to hue, saturation and luminosity.(I)
2. Identify and apply characteristics of additive and subtractive color systems.(II)
3. Demonstrate the different aspects of computer color display.(III)
4. Explain the effects of using value, hue, and intensity contrasts and demonstrate these effects in a digital composition. (IV)
5. Develop design/s using digital color to create depth, figure/ground contrast and 3-dimensional effects.(V)
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies. MCCCD faculty retains authority in determining the pedagogical approach, methodology, content sequencing, and assessment metrics for student work. Please see individual course syllabi for additional information, including specific course requirements.
