Description: Preparation for the written and practical examinations for Arizona Barbering and Cosmetology Board licensure. Includes concepts related to nail services, general sciences, and business skills in the nail care industry.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Demonstrate Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board expectations and procedures. (I)
2. Demonstrate learned concepts in practical applications to successfully pass the final written exam with 80% or better. (I)
3. Apply learned concepts in theory to successfully pass the final written exam with 80% or better. (I)
4. Apply tools and resources needed to gain employment in the nail care industry. (II)
