Description: Preparation for the written and practical examinations for the Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board licensure. Focus on Arizona state testing procedures for the written and practical examinations, as well as Arizona state laws for a cosmetologist. Final salon business practices and services.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Demonstrate Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board expectations and procedures. (I)
2. Demonstrate knowledge of learned concepts in practical applications to successfully pass the final written exam with 80% or better. (I)
3. Describe learned concepts in theory to successfully pass the final written exam with 80% or better. (I)
4. Utilize tools and resources needed to gain employment in the beauty industry. (II)
