MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Apply Public Relations classroom instructor to work experiences during 80 hours per credit per semester.
2. Accomplish individualized journalism related learning objectives.
3. Communicate effectively with business or industry personnel and faculty coordinator.
4. Apply human relations skills in the news organization setting.
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies. MCCCD faculty retains authority in determining the pedagogical approach, methodology, content sequencing, and assessment metrics for student work.
