Description: A capstone experience in a fitness or health related facility supervised by a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) professional. Eighty (80) hours of designated work per credit.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Apply classroom knowledge of risk stratification, fitness assessments and program design safely and effectively in a work environment. (I-II)
2. Accomplish individualized fitness projects related to individual learning objectives. (I-II)
3. Communicate effectively with business/industry personnel. (I-II)
4. Apply human relations skills in the business/industry setting. (I-II)
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies.
