1. Using participant health/medical history and industry standards for pre-participation health screening, assess participant risk for experiencing an adverse event with exercise testing. (I)
2. Demonstrate industry-accepted professional, ethical, and business standards for optimizing safety and reducing liability during exercise testing. (I, II) 3. Communicate orally, visually and in written form with peers in a manner appropriate to the field. (I, II) 4. Select common evidence-based fitness and health-related assessments appropriate to client needs and goals, and to ensure client safety. (II) 5.
