1. Apply the current edition of the Uniform and International Building Codes related to building occupancies and construction. (I)
2. Apply the current edition of the National Electrical Code (NEC) as it applies to terminology, wiring practices, and their relationship to heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. (II) 3. Apply the current edition of the Uniform Mechanical Code related to ventilation, evaporative coolers, air conditioning and refrigerants. (III) 4. Apply the current edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code as it relates to definitions, vents/venting, fuel gas piping, water heaters and water heater vents. (IV) 5. Identify local code amendments that supersede or supplement the Uniform Building Code, NEC, Uniform Mechanical Code, and the Uniform Plumbing Code. (V) 6. Evaluate the impact of the American with Disabilities Act on new and existing facilities. (VI) | |||
