Description: Introduction to the positions and process of theatrical production through participation in a fully-realized educational or community theatre production.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Demonstrate understanding of the positions involved in a theatrical production. (I, II)
2. Apply skills and knowledge in a specific position in a theatrical production of a fully realized play or musical. (II)
3. Evaluate individual contribution to the overall production. (III)
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies. MCCCD faculty retains authority in determining the pedagogical approach, methodology, content sequencing, and assessment metrics for student work.
