1. In a professional manner, adhere to safety, emergency, and ethical policies and procedures of the ultrasound department and healthcare agency with occasional assistance, as needed. (I)
2. Perform image acquisition and processing including storage of completed vascular examinations with occasional assistance. (II) 3. Follow patient care protocols before, during, and after the vascular sonographic examination with occasional assistance. (III) 4. Perform administrative procedures to include scheduling, billing, report retrieval, and processing of patient, with occasional assistance. (IV) 5. Assist the technologist in performing selected vascular sonographic examinations in the clinical setting to include routine/complex vascular scanning. (V) 6. Independently create vascular diagnostic images. (VI) 7. Utilize appropriate techniques to independently correct equipment limitations for vascular imaging. (VI) | |||
