Description: Principles and application of the latest techniques in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in accordance with current American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Y14.5M. Recommended for all manufacturing personnel who read or produce engineering drawings related to contracts with the U.S. Government.

2. Interpret engineering tolerances as applied to drawing dimensions. (II)
3. Define the datum plane concept. (III)
4. Identify and interpret datum features and datum targets on engineering drawings. (IV)
5. Identify and interpret geometric characteristics and their tolerances zones on engineering drawings. (V)
6. Identify and interpret the effect of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing symbols modifiers applied to geometric characteristics. (VI, VII)
7. Identify and interpret position tolerances on engineering drawings. (VIII)
8. Identify and interpret position tolerances on engineering drawings. (VIII)
