Description: Adolescent substance use prevention issues. Emphasis on current and developing adolescent prevention information. Covers common adolescent substance use characteristics and prevention strategies.

2. Describe characteristics common to the onset of adolescent substance use. (I)
3. Describe techniques, strategies, and treatment modalities recommended for adolescent substance use prevention. (II)
