Description: Overview of the science underlying the systems approach to prevention interventions and guidance for developing such approaches, as well as exemplars of evidence-based drug use prevention systems.

1. Discuss implementation of evidence-based interventions in community-based systems. (I-II)
2. Describe characteristics of prevention implementation systems. (I-II)
3. Describe a step-by-step process for organizing and sustaining quality community-based Evidence-Based Intervention (EBI) implementation systems. (II)
4. Explain the process for initiating a community based EBI implementation system. (II)
5. Discuss strategies for networking implementation systems and securing national-level resources for EBIs. (II)
