MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Perform comprehensive patient assessment utilizing diagnostic technology and techniques according to the Paramedic scope of practice. (I-III)
2. Integrate pathophysiologic principles, epidemiology, and comprehensive assessment to formulate a differential diagnosis for medical emergencies and trauma during simulations. (I-IV)
3. Integrate the pathophysiological significance of assessment findings to implement a patient management plan in the paramedic scope of practice for medical emergencies and trauma during simulations. (V)
4. Integrate knowledge of pharmacologic agents to manage medical emergencies and trauma during simulations. (V)
5. Manage technical operations during simulations. (VI)
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies.
