Description: Instruction in basic computer literacy, including generic applications and music-specific programs with hands-on experience. Ability to read music notation required.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Create informative, accurate and visually interesting posters, fliers, and mailings for a music program. (I, III)
2. Accurately track music budgets using a spreadsheet. (II)
3. Catalog personal music, sound recordings, and sheet music in a database. (IV)
4. Create and edit music notation. (V)
5. Create and edit a song using music sequence software. (VI)
6. Review and evaluate utility of software for music instruction. (VII)
