Description: Knowledge and skills to safely prepare and administer intravenous medications and solutions. Emphasizes management of clients receiving complex therapies such as blood and blood products, parenteral nutrition, and advanced pain management. Application of previous knowledge of physical, biological, and social sciences. Includes an overview of parenteral medications and therapies used in selected situations
